Hi Doreen,

I'm one of the translators on Final Fantasy XII, and I'm writing to inform you of an error in the news section of your website. I'm not sure where you received your information, but Tara Strong, in fact, does not provide Penelo's voice in the English version of the game.

We've been trying to straighten out this bit of misinformation since it first appeared on IMDB (apparently some fans jumping to conclusions from one voice sample in the E3 2006 trailer), and I'm sure you want your website to contain only accurate information. I hope you'll be able to make the correction, and I thank you very much for your time.

I noticed over the weekend the correction on the web site, and I really do appreciate it. Of course it's not a big deal, and once the game is finally released things would get straightened out, but I think this is certainly better for all concerned.

Catherine Taber will be providing the voice of Penelo in the English dub of FF12. I'm working with our marketing department about releasing more information about the cast, but for various reasons they haven't been able to do this just yet. If you'd like to give out Catherine Taber's name as the actual voice of Penelo, that shouldn't be a problem.

Again, thanks very much for taking care of this so promptly and politely. Keep up the great work on Tara's site ... I'm certainly a fan of her work myself!
